Hello! I just moved back from Los Angeles, California, to be closer to family. In LA, I was a nanny for a wonderful family with an 8 year old boy. My duties involved cooking dinners & snacks, driving him to activities, helping with homework, playing outside, grocery shopping, and light house hold work such as dishes and laundry. Prior living in LA, I worked in a school as an assistant teaching artist in Brooklyn New York, for a company called Wingspan, a non-profit after school program. I assisted in teaching classes such as music, chess, art, poetry, cooking, and story telling for ages Pre-K through 5th Grade, 5 days a week. I was a recurring babysitter for a second family in LA with two girls ages 8 and 10. During college, I was also a recurring babysitter for a family in the South End in Boston for one girl age Read more 10. My main experience is working with kids ages 5-12, however I have at times babysat for infants. I have a huge family with younger kids who I have babysat for! My style is supportive, fun, building confidence, and always think of something creative to do! In general, I'm not very strict, however, I take direction from the parents in how they set rules and what to follow. Apart form my childcare experience, I worked in TV. Shows I have worked on are "Home & Family" on the Hallmark Channel, The Billboard Music Awards, The Grammy Awards, and more. I also am a songwriter with over 10 label placements worldwide and glad to incorporate music in any way into my nanny role! A handful of my friends were nominated or won Grammy's this year. Now that I have moved back from LA, I am studying for my Real Estate License here on Cape Cod. I look forward to this new chapter in my life back on the east coast and I am hopeful to find a great family to support whether seasonal or year round!
