Hi there! My name is Kam, and I’m a kind, compassionate, and caring gal born and raised in Lexington, Kentucky! 💓 I have over 10 years of babysitting experience and 8+ years of nannying experience. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Special Education and have experience caring for children from infancy through elementary school. Throughout my nannying career, I’ve had the privilege of growing alongside some amazing little humans! I previously nannied full-time for twin boys from 12 months until they were about 6 years old. I also spent several years caring for a Colorado family with a toddler and an infant. Building lasting relationships with children and their families, watching little personalities blossom, and celebrating milestones are some of the most rewarding parts of my work. 🍎✏️ I also worked at a Montessori school in Boulder, Colorado, caring for infants (2–18 months), toddlers Read more (12 months–3 years), and preschoolers (3–6 years). My background has given me a strong understanding of child development, age-appropriate activities, positive guidance, and creating safe, nurturing environments where children can explore, learn, and thrive. I’ve recently renewed my infant and adult CPR and First Aid certifications and hold multiple PDIS certifications related to childcare, education, and child safety. Although I’ve spent time teaching in a classroom, I’ve realized how much I miss the one-on-one connections that come with nannying. I love getting to know each child’s unique personality, building meaningful relationships with families, and being a consistent, caring presence as little ones grow. In my free time, you’ll usually find me taking my miniature dachshund, Arlo, on walks and hikes, finding new local cuisines, enjoying the outdoors, or getting creative with arts and crafts, board games, and music! I love bringing that same creativity into my time with children through nature exploration, art projects, reading, and imaginative play. 🎨🐾 I’d love to find a family where we can build a trusting, long-term relationship!
