I am a retired school teacher and counselor. I have a BS in Education from Lander University. Have 2 Master’s degrees, one in clinical counseling from The Citadel and one in Instructional Technology from Grand Canyon University. I retired from the state in 2014, with 25 years teaching and counseling experience in Charleston, Berkeley, and Lexington County. I am looking for a family full time, part time, or occasionally when needed. I can work any hours to include over night if needed. I have nannied off and on when teaching. You’re probably too young to remember but I nannied Fran Tarkinton’s two children for many summers at Sea Island Ga. I also nannied summers with Hicks and Jane Lanier from Atlanta, Ga. I have experience with infants up to high school and special needs children. I love being around children and watch how quickly they learn. I am able to run errands, drop off and pick up children, laundry, light house keeping, food prep, or any need the family may have. I have no issues with times changing at the last minute at all. I receive great fulfillment when working with any age child. I have lived in Lexington/West Columbia since 2012. I have a son Nicholas that just retired from MLB 2 years ago and a daughter Suzanne that is a social worker in Augusta. They both attended LHS. Working with any family that needs helps fulfills me.
