Hello everyone! I’m sharing my post as I will be returning home for the summer and looking for a family to sit for the summer! My name is Shaunté and I am a SJ alumn. I am a 5th, going on 6yr graduate physical therapy student. I have special interests in working with pediatric patients. One of the many reasons I love working with kids is because of their energetic and unique personalities. I have babysat/worked with kids for many years on and off working around my school schedule. I spent 5 years working at a summer recreation program with kids ages 4-16yrs old. Treated pediatric patients with orthopedic conditions in a 6 week rotation. I am currently employed as a teachers aide for an after school program in the Ithaca area(going on 3yrs now). I also currently care for a 3 families with younger aged children in the local Read more Ithaca area during the academic year. I am CPR and first aid certified and have reliable transportation. This summer I am looking to provide care for a family in needs of services after 5pm during the week or on weekends. I will be unavailable prior to 5pm as I will be completing my clinical affiliation.
