Hello! I’m Sierra, I’m 24 years old and I’ve been in child care for 4 years, but my passion for education took root in my life as a child! I was in college for elementary education at the University of Iowa and since then have taken classes in early childhood education and care. I have taught in group childcare settings and I’ve also done in home individual care. I’ve worked with ages 6 weeks old all the way to 12 years old. I am very energetic and love to create fun learning experiences! I enjoy cooking and cleaning to model practical life skills, after all children are sponges that take everything in. I am very positive and optimistic and love to make every day an adventure, it can be outings to the park or a movie day in with pillow forts and homemade treats. I also have experience in food Read more preparation, keeping a neat and sanitary environment, allergy care, and first aid and CPR. I really enjoy learning new things everyday and answering questions or finding the answers to things I don’t know. I am able to help with homework, housekeeping, meal prep, errands, and pet care! I love putting my best self forward and tackling anything that comes my way.
