Meet Katrina

Why do you love being a sitter? I love being a sitter because I enjoy helping children learn, grow, and have fun in a safe environment. Working with kids brings me joy — their energy, creativity, and curiosity always brighten my day. I take pride in building positive relationships with both children and their families. What experience do you have? I have several years of experience working with young children in both childcare centers and home settings. I’ve worked at Kids’ Place Too and First Steps Learning Center in Lillington, NC, and also at Johnston-Lee-Harnett Community Action. I currently attend Central Carolina Community College, where I’m studying Early Childhood Education. I’ve also gained hands-on experience caring for my own two children, which has strengthened my patience and understanding of different developmental stages. What skills and training do you have?
