Mother of a super sweet 1 year old girl, older sister to three siblings and community responder for the Northampton Division of Community Care. I have an Associates in Human Services and I am CPR, AED, and first aid certified. I have cared for people in all stages of life and love children. I have taken courses on child and human development, and was an honors college student at Holyoke Community College. I’m a skilled communicator and can provide emotional support, facilitate conflict resolution conversations, and set boundaries in a developmentally appropriate way for all ages. I have an understanding of a variety of cognitive and physical disabilities and feel comfortable caring for adults and children who may need more assistance. I am looking for work that will allow me to stay home over the weekends and week nights without sacrificing the chance to make income or be with my Read more daughter. I have a 4 bedroom home with a yard and near by park, and can provide meals for an extra fee if food is not provided. I have tons of art supplies and toys for young children. There is no smoking in the home. We have fish and 4 cats, who get along well with our daughter but can be brought upstairs if your child is afraid of animals. We like taking longs walks, playing outside and eating good food!
