Meet Niavona

Hello! Thank you for taking time out to read my profile. My name is Nia and I am an elementary school teacher of students with disabilities. I have always loved working with children and began working in the field of education when I was 14 years old. I worked in a day care as an afternoon aide throughout High School and also babysat on the weekends (ages 18 months to 4 years old). When in college, I continued my work in a day care setting (6 weeks to 4 years old) and later moved on to work with Middle and High School students. I have been teaching for over 10 years in the public school setting, working with students with disabilities ranging from 4 to 13 years old. I am currently looking for part-time employment while on summer break, with availability Tuesday-Thursday, from 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM. I may Read more have availability other days as well however this will be on an as need basis and dependent on my schedule for the week. I would like to work with newborns/infants, toddlers, and/or preschool age children. My skill set includes feeding, meal prep, diaper/toileting, establishing schedules/routines, hands-on learning activities, and much more! I am available to begin as early as 6/18/24 and will end employment on 8/15/24. Looking forward to speaking with you and learning more about how I may be of support to your family.
