A Little About Me 💗 Hi families! My name is Vanessa, and I’m currently a college student majoring in Early Elementary Education with the goal of becoming a teacher. I’ve always loved being around kids, and growing up as the second oldest of seven children and the oldest girl gave me plenty of experience helping care for younger siblings! I currently work at the YMCA providing before-school care, and I also have experience working at summer camp with children. I love helping kids learn, grow, have fun, and feel comfortable being themselves. I have all my required clearances and am CPR certified, so families can feel confident knowing I take children’s safety and well-being seriously. I’m looking for after-school babysitting opportunities where I can help with school pickups, homework, light housekeeping, and preparing dinner. I’m caring, patient, responsible, and happy to lend a helping hand wherever your family needs me. I love seeing their personalities grow, helping them with new things, and making sure they feel safe and cared for. I also work at a summer camp and currently provide before-school care at the YMCA. These experiences have helped me learn how to keep children engaged, support their needs, and create a fun and safe environment. As an Early Elementary Education major, I’m learning more about child development, how children learn, and how to support their growth. I’m patient, dependable, organized, and comfortable helping with homework, school routines, light housekeeping, and dinner preparation. I’m also used to being around children and understand the importance of keeping them safe, making them feel supported, and communicating with families.
