Hello all! I've been working as a babysitter for family, family friends, and some teachers for a few years now and decided to create an account to make it more official. As a caretaker, I like to try and make most things a lesson in some way. Challenging kids keep their brains open to possibilities while allowing them to establish their boundaries as well. Any instructions and limitations given by the parent will always be followed to a T, and updates will be given as time progresses. Other than just babysitting kids, I've worked with them in a plethora of ways my entire life. I started my journey with kids as an assistant recreational cheerleading coach for 1st and 2nd graders at the local YMCA in 4th grade, and continued every year until I graduated high school. I've refereed for the recreational soccer program the town over from mine all Read more four years of high school and also worked as a summer camp counselor. As a college student, it's a lot harder to be involved with the younger generations given my limited time. Luckily, through a connection to the local middle school, I've been given the position of an afterschool STEM instructor with two fellow students. With the family moving to the Poconos this past winter, I wasn't allowed to learn about the lifestyle and community in the area. As my younger cousins and little sister go to schools and play sports, I'd be around the community's kids through association, so I figured establishing a babysitting career would make sense to an extent. I'm super excited to learn more about the community and help take a load off some of the families around!
