I was born and raised in Nashville Tennessee. I have always loved being around children. When I was a teen I would often choose babysitting jobs over going out with my friends. When I was 19 I worked at a daycare but then was offered a nanny position for a single dad of two children over the summer. I kept watching kids for several years after that. In 2002 I had my second child and really wanted to stay home with my babies so I started watching children again until my youngest started kindergarten in 2006. For a short period I went back to work as a kitchen designer but when the market crashed in 2008 I decided to stay home and watch children again. This is when my husband and I decided to become foster parents. At any given time I had at least four kids plus my own. Read more In 2016 I went back to being a kitchen designer. Last summer my husband and three youngest children moved from Tennessee to Ohio. Just recently I've wanted to go back to work. My heart really pulls me toward watching children again. This is where I am the happiest!
