I enjoy working with children because I understand firsthand that every child has unique needs. I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to childcare. I focus on being patient, observant, and responsive, adapting my care to each child's personality, communication style, and comfort level. My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment where children feel understood, respected, and most importantly cared for. I'd like families to know that I bring both professional experience and lived understanding into the care I provide. As an autistic adult and a Registered Behavior Technician who works closely with children on the autism spectrum, I'm familiar with supporting different communication styles and sensory needs. I lead with patience, flexibility, and empathy, always meeting children where they are. I also speak Spanish conversationally and can understand it well, which allows me to better support bilingual households.
