I’m a caring, dependable, and energetic sitter with 6 years of paid childcare experience and a lifetime of experience being around kids—I grew up helping care for my 5 younger siblings! I especially love working with babies and toddlers and have a lot of experience caring for little ones, but I’m comfortable and happy working with children of any age. One of my favorite parts of childcare is letting children “take the lead” whenever they can. I believe kids should have a voice in how they spend their time, and I love putting their needs, interests, and wants first whenever it’s reasonable and safe. I enjoy encouraging children to make their own choices, challenging their minds, and helping them build confidence in their decisions while still giving them plenty of room to use their imagination and be creative. Whether that means letting them choose an activity, coming up with a Read more silly game together, or exploring something they’re curious about, I want them to feel heard, capable, and excited to learn. I have my own minivan and am happy to drive children to school, activities, appointments, playdates, or anywhere else they need to go. I also love getting kids out of the house for fun adventures, whether that’s going to the park, exploring somewhere new, or finding age-appropriate activities to keep them entertained. I’m CPR and First Aid certified and always prioritize creating a safe, comfortable, and fun environment where kids can be themselves. In addition to childcare, I’m happy to help make life easier for the whole family by assisting with light housekeeping, laundry, meal prep, and pet care. I genuinely love working with children and building meaningful relationships with the families I care for. I’m patient, attentive, responsible, and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure both the kids and parents feel comfortable and supported.
