I have always loved spending time with kids and am looking to invite new opportunities into my schedule! I was a nanny for two infant twins and a 7 year old during the pandemic and have been missing the connection with little ones. Prior to that, I babysat on and off for the majority of my life, starting with being a mother's helper when I was 9. I was CPR and first aid certified in 2020, and am definitely open to renewing that certification. I really enjoy taking care of littler babies (infant care is my specialty), and also love toddlers and pre-k kids, and find this developmental stage to be really fun and fascinating. I like to bring activity ideas for sensory play and cognitive development to my jobs, and try to add as much value to the family's life and the child's experience as I can. I love Read more helping kids engage with books and outdoor/nature play, and have a very gentle, kind, and fun-forward approach to communicating with kids. I view them as full people that deserve respect, and do my best to build this mutual trust with them. I'm also a very neat person, and am happy to tidy/clean/do any housekeeping that needs attending to when kids are napping or engaged in solo play.
