Hi there! I am a mom of a 4.5 year old girl, have been nannying and babysitting for the past 3 years full time and I am also a licensed art educator. I have worked with kids of all ages and am 39 years old so I’ve been around a long time and know exactly how to handle any situation that may arise. I am a kid at heart as well and love to engage in play, art making, nature, and general fun :). I have been in many homes and can easily learn the way you and your family and home operate. If I’m nannying, my 4.5 year old can come with me and she makes a great play mate. If I’m babysitting at night she would not be with me. I am a nature enthusiast and know a lot about plants and animals and I am always down to do crafts! I am passionate about getting to know each child individually and help them thrive. I will follow all of your routines and keep things as seamless as possible. I am kind, compassionate, emotionally intelligent, fun, and practice gentle parenting but have firm boundaries and do not practice permissive parenting. I am fond of turning things into a game or a song to make things go smoothly. I have worked in public school and a nature homeschool program and have worked with babies through high school. I understand being nervous about leaving your child with someone else and can assure you that I’d feel safe and comfortable leaving my daughter in the hands of someone like myself. I have formed deep friendships with the kids and families I have worked with over the years and they would be happy to speak with you if you need a reference!
