Hi families! My name is Andrea, and I have been working in childcare since I was 17 years old. Working with children is something I truly enjoy because I love watching them learn, grow, and develop their own unique personalities. I enjoy creating fun, engaging experiences that help children feel confident, supported, and excited to learn. Throughout my years in childcare, I have gained experience creating lesson plans, documenting children’s development through anecdotal notes, maintaining a clean and sanitized classroom, and making sure children’s daily needs are met. I’m also someone who is happy to jump in and help with whatever needs to be done—from fixing a broken shelf to comforting a child after a little cut or boo-boo! I am CPR and First Aid certified and complete yearly professional development trainings through OCCRRA. My experience has helped me develop strong patience, communication, creativity, problem-solving, and organization skills.
