I love being a sitter because I genuinely enjoy helping children feel safe, supported, and confident while providing a fun and nurturing environment. I have experience caring for children from infancy through age 12 as a childcare assistant, camp counselor, behavioral health intern, and sitter for family friends. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Child and Family Development with a minor in Psychology. I have cared for infants and preschoolers by helping with diapering, toileting, meals, naps, playtime, and daily routines. I have also supervised groups of school-aged children, planned activities, and provided one-on-one support to nonverbal children with autism and other developmental disabilities. I am CPR certified for all ages and trained in child supervision, activity planning, positive behavior management, conflict resolution, trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, and active listening. I am patient, dependable, attentive, and committed to following each family’s routines while giving parents peace of mind.
