I am a married stepmother to a 10 year old boy and have approximately 6 years of paid child care experience. However, I have worked with children in different capacities for the past 20 years. I helped out in various children’s programs at my church, counseled at kids camp multiple summers, worked at a daycare all through college helping newborns and toddlers, have many nephews and nieces I helped raise, and have nannied for a sweet family in the past. I worked as a mental health counselor for moms struggling with postpartum depression giving me experience with both the moms struggling as well as their children. I was a certified STNA for many years which has allowed me to learn first aid, CPR, as well as other vital medical skills ensuring your child’s safety.
