I am 20 years old and have been watching children for as long as I remember! My mom worked as a paramedic and worked 48 hour shifts. While she was gone I took care of myself and my 3 younger siblings by myself. Prepping food, making sure we all got to school, getting our homework done, to and from activities, etc. And on days when my mom was home. I spent afternoons or weekends babysitting for many family friends and relatives. I’ve watched kids of all ages with different needs. Because of my mom being a paramedic, once I reached a certain age I started doing ride alongs and ran calls with her and her partner. I also sat in certain classes and gotten certain certifications. For the past year I’ve been a nanny for a family with two kids! (2 and 6 months at age of starting) I’ve taught Read more the oldest her letters/numbers/colors as well as potty training and small sign language phrases. And I’ve helped the baby learn to crawl, grab things on his own, eat on his own, say small words, etc. They have decided to migrate down to only one parent working so their mother will now be home with them soon.Therefore I’m looking for a new full time job with a family!!
