I'm a dual-enrollment student at Central Piedmont Community College who is hoping to soon transition into an Associates of Nursing Program. As a nurse, I hope to work in Pediatric Oncology because I have a love for children, especially those with special needs. I love getting to enrich a child's day with meaningful, educational, and fun activities, as well as just building a relationship with them. Since I was 13, I have volunteered at two separate churches with children ranging from newborns to elementary aged. My consistent position right now is at New City South Park, volunteering in the nursery with either babies or toddlers. For paid experience, I have two years of experience as a children's entertainer, most recently with My Pretty Princess Party CLT. At this job, I become a Disney Princess for children's parties and events. This requires compassion, time management, adaptability, and leadership.
