I have been working with children for 11 years, seven of which were as a behavior interventionist for autistic children*. I am currently in school for speech and language pathology and I work as a nanny for a 4 year old and a 7 month old infant. One of my specialities is play based learning and I can make almost anything into a fun activity! I'm very crafty and love to teach. Patience is a key strength of mine and I can navigate behavioral challenges calmly while managing multiple children. *I do use identity-first language as it's been identified as the preferred language by the majority of the autistic community, but if your family uses people-first language I have absolutely no problem utilizing it!
