Hello! My name is Aurora, I'm 18 years old and a senior in high school. I grew up in a Christian household and at church, even when I was young, I would assist in the nursery ministry where I would help care for infants to toddlers. As I got older, I started babysitting for family, family friends, and neighbors. I'm comfortable watching multiple children of various ages for hours at a time, including meal prep and light housekeeping. I can also help with homework, especially when it comes to reading and writing. I love children with all my heart and plan on being a mother someday. My current plans for my future are to continue my education after I graduate high school and go to college to become a surgical technologist. I want a career that benefits others and I love to help push people towards their success, so I Read more believe assisting surgeons in an operating room is a great way to benefit others and improve myself. My passions: I love art, whether it is drawing, painting, fashion, or interior design. I love hands-on projects and activities such as any sort of arts/crafts and board/card games. As for academics, I'm an English buff (I enjoy writing essays). I've taken either honors or AP English classes throughout my high school career. I enjoy studying anything to do with the medical field or about people in general. I'm currently taking a college-level class in Anatomy and Physiology and a Child Development class. In the past, I have also taken Teacher of Tomorrow classes where I got to work in elementary classrooms and learn about different effective ways of educating youth. I also enjoy sports. I was a varsity fencer, manager for volleyball and wrestling, and grew up and am continuing to take self-defense classes. My previous occupations apart from babysitting, have been lifeguarding. I have lifeguarded at both gyms and community pools. This means I have gone through CPR, AED, and First Aid training, Overall, I would love and appreciate the opportunity to spend time taking care of your children! I can meal prep, do light cleaning, help with homework, do crafts, and play games with them! I am flexible with hours and can work most days.
