I’ve always wanted to be a teacher, which is why I’m currently majoring in education to become a math teacher in the future. Working with kids comes very naturally to me, and I truly enjoy being around them. I love that every child is different, and I get to support them in growing, learning, and just having fun. Babysitting gives me the chance to build those connections while also helping parents feel comfortable and at ease knowing their kids are in good hands. I’ve been working with kids for about five years through a summer camp program, where I work with youth ages 13 to 17. In the fall, I also work with a wider range from infants all the way up to 17-year-olds. Because of that, I’ve gained experience caring for kids at different stages of development. At camp, we do all kinds of activities, including theater, singing, dance, Read more poetry, and modern dance. That variety has taught me how to engage kids in creative ways, keep them active, and encourage them to try new things. I bring a lot of patience, creativity, and responsibility to the table. I’m good at keeping kids engaged, whether it’s through fun activities or just giving them a safe space to be themselves. I also have strong communication skills from working with groups of different ages, and I know how to adapt to their needs whether that’s caring for infants or guiding teens.
