Hi I'm Hilary, a local holistic health practitioner, aspiring chef and substitute Montessori preschool teacher. I have over 20 years experience in child care from 0-14yrs old. I began my child care journey as a babysitting when I was 15-years-old. From age 14-18 years old I was a lifeguard and swim instructor for infants and toddlers. From 18-21 I was a day-camp counselor + swim instructor for 7-8yr olds and an overnight camp counselor for 12-14yr olds. After that I was a consistent babysitter for families in my area of North Suburbs of Chicago and a local dog walker for 5 stable families for 2 years. From 2010-2012, I was a full-time nanny for a single mom with 3 kids, ages 5, 8 and 11. From 2013-2014 I was a live-in nanny for twin girls ages 7-8yrs. Took care of kids, dog, house keeping and dinner 3x a week. Since Read more 2014 I've continued to teach kids of different ages about gardening, permaculture, sustainability and organic farming. First at Angelic Organics Learning Center in Caledonia, IL for day camps, workshops and family experiences. I have been a certified yoga teacher and yoga therapist since 2016. Taught all ages of kids & adults including dance, improv, yoga and tai chi. I currently work with 15th Street Farm in St. Pete through their grant program to bring gardening into schools for kids. For the past 3 years I've been teaching gardening 1x a week at a local pre-k school. I am First-Aid, CPR, and Food-Handler Certified. I do have a FBI Level Background Check that I can provide, as needed to be a Substitute in Pinellas County Schools.
