Hi there! My name is Ashwini, and I am a first-year occupational therapy student at A.T. Still University, working toward a career in pediatric OT. I have nearly a decade of experience caring for children of all ages, developmental stages, and abilities, and I’m especially passionate about supporting early childhood development. I previously worked as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), where I provided one-on-one support to children on the autism spectrum. Through this work, I’ve developed a deep sense of patience, empathy, and attentiveness to each child’s unique needs. While I have experience with a wide range of ages and abilities, I am especially interested in working with newborns, infants, and toddlers (0–24 months). I love supporting early childhood development and milestones-whether that’s feeding, sleep routines, sensory play, or motor skill development. Given my OT/PT/ABA background, I am especially passionate about creating a calm and nurturing environment for little ones. Read more I am CPR and BLS certified and can perform basic life-saving procedures such as the Heimlich maneuver, first aid, etc. Given that I am a full-time graduate student, I am unable to hold a full-time caregiver position, but please reach out for my full availability and I am happy to adapt to your family’s routines and needs.
