I have extensive childcare experience, both personally and professionally. I have cared for my niece and nephews, as well as provided long-term nanny services for four families during COVID (and two others on a more short-term basis) through approximately 2025. I still babysit for one of those families on occasion, although their little boy has gotten much older now and is almost a teenager, so they have needed me less and less over the years. I am still here to help them and have built a relationship with the family over many years since we started working together. The children I cared for ranged from 11 months old to 12 years old, including experience with multiple children at a time. (I am happy to discuss a reasonable flat rate for families with multiple children. I understand that childcare needs vary, and I am not looking to overcharge, but I also Read more believe the level of care and number of children should be taken into consideration.) I am also happy to become CPR and First Aid recertified. I previously held certification, but it expired after I transitioned out of childcare and into the legal field. I have a pre-law degree from Florida Institute of Technology, and my associate degree was in biomedical sciences, which has given me a strong foundation in child development, nutrition, health, psychology, and understanding the different needs of children. I truly love working with children and consider myself patient, empathetic, dependable, and attentive to each child’s individual needs. I have experience providing transportation for children, including using my own vehicle for daycare drop-offs and pickups. I have also enjoyed planning fun and engaging activities, including trips to parks, outings, and special days that allowed the children to explore, learn, and have memorable experiences. In addition to childcare, I have helped families with household tasks such as laundry, dishes, cleaning homes and RVs, pet care while families traveled, and general organization. I have also provided tutoring support when needed, both for several of the families I’ve worked with and independently. I am flexible and happy to help with whatever your family may need.
