My passion in life is assisting families in caring for their most important assets (children, pets, homes, clothing, etc.). I have extensive experience in childcare including individual babysitting sessions for over 25 years, nannying for one to three children for seven years, church child services including weekly infant room/Sunday School 5 year old class/Vacation Bible School 4 year old classes. I have continuously trained in infant and up CPR and first aid care. My childcare style is extremely gentle and communicative. I believe in as much outdoor time, as possible, for all ages. I do not use screen time as a method of entertaining children unless it is a learning activity we do together in limited use. I prefer to bring the magic with imaginative play, learning activities, reading books, creative adventures and things that encourage gifted/intellectually talented children. I know a thousand kid song and poems by heart and Read more am not afraid to look silly with kids. I have been serving as a temporary house manager in Los Angeles. My responsibilities are to maintain a spotless, calm, safe and happy environment for a five bedroom/3 bathroom home. I happily manage recycling, minor repairs, outdoor maintenance, inventory, cooking two meals per day, shopping, meal planning, event planning, moving assistance, laundry, etc. I was trained by a Donna Karan specialist in high-end fabric care/laundering. I have extensive senior care experience. I started volunteering with seniors through a program doing arts and crafts in the mornings. I then served as an activities assistant at the largest nursing facility in Illinois. They sent me to several trainings on activities and care for individuals with dementia and alzheimer's. I have experience with both men and women and enjoy even the most curmudgeon personality. I am originally from the midwest so animals are like family. I love to spoil pets and even took an animal massage class. I look forward to bringing the magic to your family!!!
