I began babysitting at 9 years old and continued throughout middle school, high school, and college. Supporting families and nurturing children has always come naturally to me. I am also a proud mother of four grown sons. I homeschooled my children and used the “Teach Your Baby to Read” program to encourage early literacy and a love of learning. Today, my boys are healthy, respectful, and happy grown men — something I consider one of my greatest blessings. I trained as a midwife in Hawaii and assisted in delivering 12 babies. Being present at the very beginning of life shaped my calm, attentive, and intuitive caregiving style. I am very comfortable with newborns and understand the importance of gentle, responsive care.
