Orelie P.

Orelie worked as our babysitter/helper/dog-walker for 6 months from Feb 2023 to Aug 2023. Her duties ranged from watching and taking care of my 3 year old daughter, walking my dog in the mornings, and some household chores such as folding laundry, putting away dishes and vacuuming our floors. Orelie was one of the best babysitters we’ve had. She was always punctual and polite, very communicative, and accommodating to our schedule. One of the things she excelled at was providing firm boundaries with our toddler. Our daughter is on the autism spectrum, and as such often times had temper tantrums. Orelie would hold firm boundaries and not give in to my daughter’s wishes when my daughter cried or threw a fit over wanting goldfish for dinner or not wanting to clean up her toys. She was very patient with my daughter and provided the type of gentle but firm parenting guidance I wanted for my child. Orelie is rarely on her phone - the only times she is on it is to text me a question. I would strongly recommend Orelie as your next babysitter. She’s been wonderful to work with, and would not have given her up as a babysitter except we had to move out of the area.
