Hi there! My name is Mickey I am 20 years old I am located in Dyke (just north of Cville!) I use She/They pronouns and I'm a babysitter/nanny looking to expand my work experience and make some money to support my family. I'm studying to be a preschool teacher at PVCC (currently taking a semester off). I am a part time floater teacher at a childcare center in Charlottesville. I have worked with infants - middle school aged children. I love being fun and I enjoy being an active playmate while maintaining a safe environment when babysitting. In my free time I enjoy video games, animals, and advocating for LGBTQIA+ Youth. I have experience helping out GSAs in middle schools and I have been a nanny/babysitter since December 2022. I love to learn and grow with each babysitting/nanny opportunity that I get. I typically will bring activities to do with Read more the children but if parents have other activities in mind or suggestions I would love to know! I try my best to respond in a timely manner (typically within a 24 hour period but usually sooner). Availability: I am currently available after 6PM on weekdays and Saturdays, and anytime on Sundays. occasionally I will be available Saturdays as well. My only issue is that I don’t drive (hoping to change that soon!) but I am able to take Jaunt (bus) and after 6:00 PM on weekdays and Saturdays, and anytime on Sundays I can get a ride from family. We've used Mickey's babysitting services for our 4 year old daughter while our 13 year old son was home as well (doing mostly his own thing). My daughter absolutely loved Mickey and has asked multiple times when she is coming back! Unfortunately, we haven't had a chance yet for another date night, but when we have another one, Mickey will be the one we will call. Mickey was very kind, she actively played with my daughter, was very engaging and took great care of her. She cooked an easy dinner for both our kids and she was very responsive to our messages and calls beforehand and during the evening. We would highly recommend Mickey to everyone who needs a babysitter that loves to hang out with your children and has great responsibility!

Mickey has been sitting for our 4yr old toddler for the past several months and we truly adore them. They are engaging and kind and has nurtured a sweet and caring relationship with our little. They are not only a great play friend for our toddler but they are very responsive and responsibly reliable.
