Hi, my name is Shadae and I’m a recent graduate of Stony Brook University. I will be pursuing a career as a PA in the near future. I have been working with children ever since I entered high school and had joined a club that volunteered at a children’s hospital every weekend (in Jamaica). Additionally, I have 4 younger siblings that I had to and still do occasionally babysit (a 2 and a 4 year old) and I also have experience babysitting for family friends. Over the years, I have mostly babysat toddlers and preteens. I’m a very energetic and gentle person who tries to make the best of every situation and who likes to keep everyone happy, engaged and feeling included. On a nice day, I like to take the kids outdoors to engage in something enjoyable and memorable because the years of your childhood are truly limited. Otherwise, Read more we would stay indoors and do something based upon their suggestions. For me, it’s all about the kids and I just love their curious and explorative minds. I know that childcare is not always easy, but I am a very patient person that look at challenges as learning experiences. In my spare time, I volunteer at my local ambulance corp and I am CPR certified.
