Hey friends! My name is Emily, I am a Christian and a lover of Jesus, and I’ve been a Child Care Provider in the form of nannying and babysitting for the past 13 years. I build rapport very easily with both the kids and parents I’ve worked with, I’m pretty extroverted and enjoy people a lot! I love to prioritize play, connection, and fun with safety and respect at the center of it all. I love going on adventures big and small: whether it’s the beach, the library, the backyard, the park, there is always something to explore! And I am big on being active/outside, big on creative play/arts and crafts/creativity, and big on limited screen time :) I love music as well, I know a great deal of Disney songs. One of my favorite things about working with kids is getting to see who they are through either their Read more sense of humor through joy and laughter and the darnedest things they say, or through the tears and the heart to hearts with them that are equally important. Some other details: I am CPR certified (2023). I do not and have not ever smoked, and I also have experience working with kids with Autism as a Behavior Therapist at a local Clinic in the Poway area(2022-2023). I am currently studying Psychology at UCSD with the goal of working with kids in the future.
