Hello there! Pleased to meet you! My name is Brianna and I am 24 years old. I am CPR and first aid certified! I have worked with children on and off since I was 15, starting with nannying for my two nieces from 2014 to 2017 as well as a short period where I provided care to two boys. I then moved on to a center-based environment through AppleTree Learning Center and then Rainbow Childcare Center where I work now. During my time working with children (which has felt like my whole life because I've been drawn to children even when I still was one) I've learned an incredible amount about myself, the world, and caring for one another with unconditional love. The wonder and vibrancy that these children possess when looking at something as simple as a bubble or a butterfly is astounding and makes my heart soar. When Read more I was nannying for my sister I often went back and forth between things I might do with my life and always came back to children. I started working at AppleTree in the summer of 2017 and it only took a couple of months for me to realize that this is what I want to do with the rest of my life. Since then I have started school to major in Early Childhood Education and the things I learned from the classes and was able to apply to caring for my kiddos was so inspiring! In just this last semester in college I made the Academic Honors List and also received a letter of praise from my Behavioral Management professor. I have a passion for implementing creative lesson plans and catering to each child's specific learning style. I love the thought of the children I care for being able to soak up as much knowledge as they can and create a love for learning while their minds are still sponges! In my personal life I love to spend time in nature and show my kids the beauty of this planet. Needless to say I enjoy being active. I love to ride my bike, go hiking, and maintain an avid yoga practice. In my spare time I adore writing, reading, and painting and am beginning to learn Spanish as well as teach some of it to my little ones. I would love to get to know and be able to take a more one-on-one approach to helping children develop by securing a part-time nannying position.
