I have a Bachelor’s degree in Child Psychology and a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, along with years of experience supporting children and families. My background has helped me bring patience, structure, emotional awareness, and calm communication into the home. Not only in my relationship with children, but also in the way I support healthy parent-child connection. I am also the mother of a 17 year old senior, and I have had the privilege of raising him as a single mother while putting myself through school and building my career. That experience has shaped me in many ways. It taught me resilience, patience, creativity, time management, and how important it is for children to have steady, loving support as they grow. Although my professional background is in counseling, I am currently seeking something outside of that field in this season of life. Nannying has been a meaningful part of my life on and off for the past 20 years. It keeps me connected to the joy, curiosity, and imagination children bring into the world and honestly, there is something refreshing about spending time with little humans who remind you that snacks, stories, and a good laugh can fix a lot.
