Before having children of my own, I worked as a nurse for 3 years and a nurse assistant for 6 years. I have extensive training in K-12 education as I was previously pursuing a teaching degree in physical education, elementary education, and art ed. I'm passionate about helping children learn, grow, and feel safe and supported. As a mom of two little ones (ages 2 and 3.5), I understand the needs of young children firsthand. I do bring my children along when sitting, which has worked well for families looking for a social, play-based environment.
