Hello, my name is Heather and I am seeking to assist a family/families with overnight care for their child/children. Within the past year, I have assisted families in which a parent/parents work overnight shifts (nurses, nurse practitioner, police officer). In the fall of 2021, I assisted a family with overnight infant care for their 6-week-old so the parents could get much needed sleep. My degree is in education and have worked with/cared for children of all ages for over 15 years. Currently, I am a nanny to a 3, 7, & 8-year-old in Bridgeville, PA and volunteer as a Court Appointed Special Advocate for foster children.

I used Heather several times for babysitting my one year old. She was great with her, an I had every bit of confidence that my little one was in good hands. She managed the baby's separation anxiety really well and always made it easy for me to leave. Each time I came back they had been busy playing, reading, walking and eating and I never felt like the baby had a bad time. She is easy to communicate with, reliable, trustworthy and most importantly loves kids. I would use again in a heartbeat!

We found Heather in our "11th hour" after I came down with a severe case of mastitis on a late Monday evening and my husband was unable to stay home from work the next day to care for our 4 year old 6 week old while I rested. Enter the wonderful and incomparable Heather to our rescue ;) She arrived on time and it was like she'd already been a part of our household. She got straight to work tending to our 4 year old's breakfast needs and handled her 4 year old 'tude' really well. All of us were up late with my illness so we were a bit tired and haried in the morning. Heather was so great with our daughter, i didn't have one moment of apprehension with her. She's patient and calm but firm- which is so great when handling a cranky 4 year old. Most of her day with us was actually helping me out with our 6 week old, doing light housework, and running to get my proper antibiotics. I really don't know how I would've gotten through the day without her. She got our 4 year old ready for school pick up after breakfast and then kept me company and tended to my son while I had to make multiple calls to figure out my medications with my midwives and pharmacist. Then she ran to the pharmacy and store for me and I completely trusted giving her my debit card and pin number to complete the transaction for me. She is absolutely trustworthy. I'm so happy we came her to Sitter City and found Heather. We will absolutely be calling on her again. Thanks Heather!
