Hi I’m Sylisha and I’ve worked with for a cumulative 5 years. In high school I work as a summer camp counselor with ages 5-9. Through this experience I organized activities like arts and crafts, nature walks, and simply playground activities as well as supporting the other counselors in keeping the peace among so many kids. After high school I worked in a daycare setting for 2-3 years in the toddler room, ages 1-4. During this time I learned a lot about the needs and routines of younger children and had to adapt to this new environment. I can say that I can confidently change diapers and deal with blowouts/ potty accidents, administer first aid for all the times they fall, as well as redirect to safe a fun tasks throughout the day.
