I am from Indianapolis, IN and I have been working with children consistently for some time now. I graduated from IU Bloomington in 2020 with a Bachelor's Degree in Community Health/ a minor in Human Development & Family Studies and I am currently in nursing school to obtain my BSN. All 4 years of undergrad I worked at The Rise after school program where I worked with children ages 5 to 16 who came from homes with domestic violence. After I graduated I started working at the Boy's and Girls Club in Indianapolis where I was promoted to program director after about 6 months of working with my site. Now that I am in nursing school I am not able to dedicate as much time as I would like to the Boys's and Girl's Club so I am looking for something that still allows me to work with children, but Read more at the same time focus on completing nursing school so that I can start my pediatric nurse journey.
