I have raised two wonderful sons, worked in a daycare/pre-school facility and taught at church. I am a retired x-ray tech by profession and have worked the majority of my life in healthcare. I enjoy children and people in general. After retiring to Florida, I became somewhat bored and thought it would be nice to share my time helping others out by providing them the ability to go to work and not have to worry about who was watching the children. I’m a firm believer in “children learn by doing” and sitting in front of the television is not always a beneficial learning experience. Your caregiver should be someone your child loves, not because they are replacing you as a parent, but because they make your child feel safe and happy when they are in their care.
