Hi! My name is Denise Perez, and I’m a senior at Colorado State University majoring in Health and Exercise Science. With over five years of babysitting experience, I’ve had the privilege of caring for children of all ages in a fun, nurturing, and supportive environment. This past summer, I worked at Primrose Schools, where I taught and cared for children daily encouraging their growth, creativity, and learning through structured activities and play. During the school year, I currently nanny part-time and recently worked in the infant room at Once Upon a Child Daycare, gaining valuable hands-on experience with newborns and toddlers. I’m CPR/AED/First Aid certified, and I always prioritize safety. I love creating engaging activities that promote development and curiosity, whether it’s indoor crafts, outdoor adventures, or visits to local attractions. I also take pride in keeping the environment tidy and preparing healthy meals that kids enjoy. In addition to Read more childcare, I bring a strong background in basketball coaching and training. I’ve played the sport all my life including a year of college basketball and I’m passionate about helping young athletes grow their skills. I’m also fluent in Spanish, it’s my first language and I have experience teaching it to children in fun and engaging ways.
