Hi! My name is Lissete Arritola, and I recently graduated from the University of Northern Colorado (UNC) with a degree in International Relations and a minor in Asian Studies. I’m currently seeking a consistent or occasional childcare positions while I prepare for the next step in my professional career, including graduate school applications, certifications, and exploring career paths that allow me to teach children about other cultures and languages. Childcare is something I genuinely enjoy and take seriously, and I’m looking for a role where I can be reliable, engaged, and build long-term relationships with families. Availability: I’m available Monday through Friday in the morning, afternoon, or evening, and Saturday mornings. I have a flexible schedule and can be dependable for families with varying needs. My childcare experience: I’ve had the joy of working with children in both volunteer and professional settings over several years. I volunteered for one year Read more as a Catechism teacher assistant and then spent two years teaching my own elementary and middle school classes at Saint Nicholas Catholic Church. I’ve also worked three summers at Aims Community College’s College for Kids program, primarily with elementary and middle school-aged children. These experiences helped me develop strong skills in supervision, communication, and creating a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for kids. A little about me: I’m bilingual in English and Spanish and currently learning Japanese. I’ve been described as patient, empathetic, adaptable, and creative, and I bring those qualities into every childcare setting. In my free time, I enjoy reading, watching shows, and spending time with my five siblings, three of whom are younger and have taught me a lot about patience, responsibility, and fun.
