The best part of being a nanny is the little things. When my little clients become familiar and are excited to see me. The giggles, seeing them interact and learn. Being an extra person they know shows up for them. I started babysitting when I was 10 years old. That motivated me to attend RG Drag for child/elder care classes. When I graduated I studied international childcare in Germany on a scholarship. I came back home the the USA and started in my first daycare position. It was fun and exciting but at the end of the day I was drained. I them moved on to a private nanny provider. I had a wonderful family with 2 little ones. It was one of my favorite experiences. They added to the family and I was not prepared for the 3 different levels of children. I continued in the nanny world and Read more took on. Family with 5 from grade school to highschool. I stayed with the family until I was engaged and has to move. I work in group home settings and found my heartbreak for the charges and was overwhelmed. I have since work few other jobs watching children here and there as needed. I have two of my own now (teenagers) and I occasionally do respite for special needs. I'm ready to come back to giggles and storytime, afternoons at the park with picnic tea parties. I have some CPR and first Aid training but it is out of date, if you request I will update ASAP.
