Hello! My name is Amiyah Shakoor and I’m 26 years old. My first job at 12 years old was babysitting and I’ve been a caretaker basically my whole life. I love kids and I love learning with them. Watching kids learn and adapt as they grow is something special we get to experience as adults and I’m excited to help in any way I can! I am CPR/AED trained by Red Cross, have my CDA, EDFA and EFODA from Portland Community College and my mother is a PA, so I am very familiar and certified in areas in need of medical attention. I am familiar with children with special needs as my grandmother is a retired special educator of over 30 years. Working in dental, I was able to care for children with special needs, behavior problems, bad home care and over teeth and health problems.
