My experience comes from raising my own four children. I am also a grandmother to ten children. I have had employment with 2 families. Both families had infants when I started and of course they grew up. A total of 7.5 years as a nanny. I am CPR certified. I also have an associates degree in paralegal studies. As far as cleaning I was a business owner of a professional housekeeping service for 17 years. So keeping your house and children clean will not be a problem. I do not mind cooking, shopping or doing errands. I also love pets. I have reliable transportation. I am currently employed with a family and will be available for new employment in August 2025. I tried to list that in my availability and for some reason Sittercity’s platform would not let me. However, if the right job comes along my employers will understand Read more if I have to leave early. I have had the most wonderful experience taking care of these children and I feel like I am part of the family. The whole family has encompassed my heart. It will be sad to leave but at the same time exciting to see how the boys grow now that they both will be in school. As I took care of these two adorable boys, we focused on playing and learning through play. We read books, did arts and crafts, went to the park and many walks around the neighborhood. Through all of this we had conversations that were engaging and thought provoking. We learned our basics but we also learned problem solving to all sorts of situations. We also focused on how to express our emotions in a constructive manner. Of course this is all age appropriate to your child. We also did not watch tv. I would be a good fit to a family who needs someone who really cares about the well being of not only the children but making sure the load is lightened for the parents, so they may have quality time with their children.
