I am a high school graduate searching to go into the medical field as a pediatrician. Children have always been a big part of my life. When my niece was born, I was an extremely excited 9 year old ready to meet the new addition to the family. Unfortunately, though, my brother and his girlfriend had to constantly work for their new baby so I was set to be the babysitter. I would babysit her while they worked, growing an extra special bond with her. Now I get to enjoy seeing her succeed in her elementary academics as well as her sports. Being able to babysit a child is much more than looking after them, it is a way to experience seeing our future generation grow and nurture them from a young age. I now have 2 years of experience as a paid babysitter given the opportunity to watch neighbors Read more kids, family acquaintances and friends, as well as those who heard of me from previous babysitting jobs. I have always had a soft spot for children, I am extremely patient and understanding as well as firm when it is needed. I enjoy creating different learning activities which can be fun and nurturing to a young mind. Finally, I have customer service experience which unknowingly connects deeply with being able to be a successful and caring babysitter. I can cook meals, both healthy and delicious. Overall, I am not just a caring babysitter, I am a friend and someone who will go far and beyond to help a family in need.
