Hi all! My name is Corinne Smith. I am 21, going into my senior year of college this fall. I will receive my Bachelor’s degree in Child Development in May! I’m fully online so my schedule is very flexible right now! I’m hopeful to find some babysitting gigs throughout the week & weekends if you’re in need! I have worked in ABA therapy with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder for over a year. In that role, as a behavior technician, I worked one on one with clients following and implementing their treatment plan. This involved a lot of creative play to keep learners engaged, finding ways to connect and bond with learners to build their trust, and learning personal habits to help deal with high-stress and tense situations in a way that best promotes the wellbeing and growth of my clients. I have worked in various other childcare roles Read more over the last 10 years such as babysitting, nannying, church childcare, and childcare overseeing multiple ages at once for a homeschool co-op. Each of these roles has deepened my love for working with children & my desire to continue to develop my skills, as well as grown & stretched me in some pretty spectacular ways! I’m most familiar with ages 1-9, but have some (admittedly, limited) experience with newborns as well! My credentials include CPR, First Aid, & AED certifications as well as a clean driving record, plenty of references, and I am happy to send you my resume! Additionally, I am happy to do any driving, pet-care, housekeeping, and errands your family may be in need of (I have a reliable car & clean driving record)!
