For the past seven years, I have been working in a Daycare classroom in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. I have been very fortunate to be a part of the development and growth of many children reaching their maximum potential in a safe and nurturing environment. Facilitating their experience in daily life and guiding their learning in a friendly and loving environment has been my goal as an educator. Some of my tasks and responsibilities as a lead teacher In the classroom are as follows; Welcoming families and approaching them with kindness and empathy during arrival, helping the kids to gently adjust to the morning routine, guiding them in morning activities, and leading group activities. The daily routine in the classroom includes multiple art activities, social activities as well as academic content incorporated playfully and appropriate to the mixed age group.
