Hi all! My name is Meagan Davidson and am settling into life in the city after growing up in the SF Peninsula! I am 27 years old and have nannied and cared for children for many years. I have worked in several elementary schools (in San Carlos and Palo Alto) as a special education paraeducator, as a one on one aide, and am currently finishing up my internship for my Master of Social Work Program. I did my previous internship with the Child Mind Institute in Redwood City, focusing on childhood mental health and providing group therapy sessions, and am now working with Felton Institute in their infant and toddler classrooms to introduce social emotional skills and emotional regulation. I also am working with parents, holding group sessions on healthy attachment parenting and general counseling groups. All of that to say, I adore working with kiddos and their families! I Read more would say my style is very calm, patient, and empathetic, with the belief that children are the best teachers! I have learned the importance of gentle redirection and honoring the child's experience while also holding healthy boundaries. I love taking children on adventures, exploring their interests, and helping them discover the world around them. I look forward to getting to know your family!
