Hi I’m Bianca Davis a recent graduate of Howard University! I have been caring for children since I was about 14, from ages 2 months-16. I have a five year old nephew who I babysit all the time while my sister is at work, I take him outside and engage him in different learning activities so he can excel academically. I’ve volunteered with sick children at the Ronald McDonald House with my organization Lamar Ladies of Excellence while I was a senior in high school and I really enjoyed it. Over the Summer I worked as a camp counselor at the YMCA where I was responsible for children ages 5-15. Bianca was with our family for two plus years and she was wonderful with our kids. She brought great energy, patience, and warmth every time she came over and our children loved spending time with her. My son especially benefited from the tutoring help she gave him because she made learning fun and engaging. She was always dependable, even on short notice, and helped us with after school care, weekends, and date nights. Bianca showed initiative, kept things running smoothly, and communicated clearly so we always felt at ease. We trusted her completely and our kids lit up whenever she walked in the door. Any family would have been lucky to have her and we feel grateful for the time she spent with us before moving to Texas. We will miss her!
