Maria had some great qualities but there was serious breach of trust which led to us parting ways. Cannot recommend.

We worked with Maria for a couple months. We had to let her go because of trust issues and cannot recommend.

Maria has gone above and beyond our expectations of a nanny. We are moving to Northern California and we wish we could take her with us. My husband and I joke about how a new nanny will have tough shoes to fill, because Maria has set the bar high. Maria has watched our baby boy since he was 4 months old. As first time parents we had no clue what we were doing, and Maria guided us through so many things with our baby. She purees all of his baby food and has helped us learn what foods to introduce him to and at what time. Before Maria came, our son needed to be rocked to sleep and held constantly, she helped us get him to sleep in his crib and on a sleep schedule. He used to hate the bath, and after Maria came he started to love the water and didn't even mind water poured over his face. She’s taught us remedies for his tummy problems and things to do when he is sick or teething. Maria has helped with all of our baby’s physical and mental developmental milestones. Our son goes to weekly physical therapy for his Torticollis, and she is very diligent about doing his daily exercises and building his strength. Every day Maria reads to our son, sings to him, plays with him, and talks to him in English and Spanish. She is very organized and keeps all spaces super clean. Our son has grown quite attached to Maria, he has a smile on his face every morning when she greets him. We feel 100% safe leaving our baby with Maria and we trust her. She has made my transition back to work after maternity leave very smooth. The next family to work with her is extremely lucky!

We highly recommend Maria for a nanny/babysitting position. She has been nannying for our 1-year old son since he was 3 months old. Maria is creative and enthusiastic about her role, monitors our son's progress and adapts to his needs, and is proactive about adapting to his changing development. She is also good with training early language skills (she speaks to our son in both English and Spanish), and we believe she is a big contributor to how well our son interacts with other people as well as his toys. As an employee Maria is punctual, professional, trustworthy, and thoughtful. We have been very happy with Maria as our nanny and will miss her when we move out of state - we wish could take her with us!
